Just over a week ago the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees added to their rivalry with a bench clearing brawl.

It all occurred after Red Sox pitcher Joe Kelly beaned Yankees batter Tyler Austin in the back. That set off the fisticuffs.

Now the Red Sox are taking it to a whole new level. No, it isn’t Boston, but their Triple-A affiliate Pawtucket Red Sox, who are running a promotion on May 5 and 6. On those dates, fans named Joe or Kelly will receive free tickets while fans named Tyler or Austin will be banned from the park.

See, the old saying is true, you cannot trust anyone with two first names.

If you haven’t figured it out, the promotion coincides with the dates that the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, who are the Triple-A affiliate of the Yankees, are in town. While we don’t know if they really will enforce the rule on Tylers and Austins but it could be funny to see them do it.

Also, Pawtucket announced that fans that confess to being named Aaron, Gary, Aroldis, Didi, CC, Jacoby, Masahiro, Giancarlo or Mike will be charged double the price of regular admission to the game.

Well, I guess that means a few of us from the Fans Frenzy offices won’t be going to that game, right Tyler, Aaron and Jacoby?
